Lillian will present her own work and discuss her term as poet laureate of our great city. Following this, Lillian will host Chiedza Pasipanodya to talk about their new poetry collection, The Sweet Spot. Chiedza will explore their journey as a poet and offer advice for emerging poets, noting some of the most difficult internal and external challenges. Lillian will then invite a number of guest poets to read poems about Toronto. The session will wrap with a collectively improvised piece.
