Planning your trip to The Word On The Street? Here’s what you need to know about parking and transit options for festival weekend.
Public Transit
Taking transit is the easiest way to get to the festival.
Subway: The closest stop is St. Andrew Station on the University Line.
Streetcar: The 504 King streetcar stops at King & University, just a short walk from Simcoe Park.
Union Station: is about six blocks southeast of the park, or one subway stop north to St. Andrew (University Line).
GO Transit Service
Updates Sept. 27–28: No GO train service between Oakville GO and Union Station. Direct GO bus service will connect Oakville and Clarkson GO stations to Union Station Bus Terminal.
Sept. 26 (late night): Expect some additional GO service adjustments. Please plan ahead if traveling downtown by train.

If you’re driving, nearby options include:
Roy Thomson Hall Parkade – 60 Simcoe St.
Simcoe Place Garage – 200 Front St. W.
