Understanding the building blocks of narrative is essential if you want to create a powerful and well-paced plot. In this workshop we’ll explore the structural bones of a novel, learning the vital components of a well written story. Discover tools that will help you to plan before you launch into the first draft of a novel, and learn how to use Five Act Structure to identify plotting issues as you edit your book.
This workshop is applicable to all writers interested in crafting a novel, and to writers in the process of editing a novel they have already written. By the end of the session, you will have a clearer understanding of classic story structure, and essential tools to assist you in planning and editing your book.
