Event Speaker: Steve Burrows

Steve Burrows’s writing assignments have taken him to all seven continents. His freelance articles on birdwatching, travel and environmental issues have appeared in publications around the world. A Siege of Bitterns, the first title in the the Birder Murder Mysteries series, won the Crime Writers of Canada award for Best First Novel, and was selected as one of the Globe & Mail’s Top 100 Books of the Year.  A designated ZEISS Field Naturalist, Steve also guides for Adventure Canada. He is a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographic Society and a member of the renowned Explorers Club. Steve currently lives in Oshawa, Ontario with his wife and muse, Resa.
