Event Speaker: Celia Krampien

Celia Krampien is a Canadian children’s book author and illustrator. She has worked with HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, The New York Times, The Globe and Mail, and Scientific American magazine. Her debut illustrated novel for kids, The Bellwoods Game, made the NYT Bestsellers List. She grew up in a tiny town in rural Southern Ontario where she spent most of her time reading, drawing, and climbing trees (and sometimes falling out of them). Today she lives in the Niagara Region and still spends most of her time reading and drawing but now prefers to enjoy trees with both feet on the ground.
